ADHD Medication for Children

We are an assessment and diagnosis only service, and as such do not offer intervention, therapy or medication. Whilst medication is not the only treatment option for ADHD (psychological therapy is recommended too), it can be very effective and make a huge difference to people’s lives. If this is something you would like to explore, our sister company, The ADHD Service, can support you through this process.

Alternatively, you are free to pursue a referral to a psychiatrist via your GP and the NHS, or via another private company of your choosing. If you seek treatment privately, you will need to pay for their time, follow-up appointments, and the medication itself.

Everyone we had contact with was incredibly kind, understanding, empathetic and very helpful. They responded to emails almost immediately, which made the whole process much less stressful for us.

My daughter usually does not like talking on the phone or online, but she felt comfortable and opened up during the appointments. She was happy to answer questions, which shows that the staff truly know how to approach and support their patients.

After being told NHS waiting times were over 24 months, we felt we had no choice but to go private for the sake of our 9-year-old. At that point, he would have been starting secondary school before we even received a diagnosis, and he was already struggling.

As parents, we felt it was our duty to get answers sooner rather than later.
