Dr Jassim is a clinical psychologist with specialist training in administering the ADI-R and ADOS-2 for diagnostic purposes. She continues to work in the NHS, leading a neurodevelopmental assessment team. In this role she provides consultation on complex cases, such as those where there is co-occurring trauma and/or attachment difficulties.

In her work for The Autism Service, Dr Jassim leads on ASD diagnostic assessments, obtaining developmental histories and feeding back the outcome to patients.
