Dr Varnaseri, a clinical psychologist with over 15 years NHS experience, provides the ‘lead clinician’ role as part of our ASD assessment pathway. She meets with our patients to obtain a developmental history, links in with the multidisciplinary team to form a diagnostic decision, and provides feedback to patients on their outcome, both verbally and in writing.
Her reports are thorough and detailed, providing a clear explanation that assists our patients to understand their profile. She can occasionally be found at our London clinic completing ADOS-2 assessments.
Since qualifying, Dr Varnaseri has specialised in the field of neurodevelopment and learning disability, working in NHS child development teams, child mental health services, and adult ASD services. She holds a professional diploma in positive behaviour support.
